Visa Information
The Czech Republic joined the European Union in May 2004. Currently residents of the Eurpean Union, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand do not need entry visas to enter the Czech Republic. At this time, foreign nationals from South Africa and other nations may need an entry visa. If you do need a visa, contact your nearest Czech Embassy for details.
We advise those intending to stay and seek work to obtain a multiple entry visa as the process of getting the necessary work / resident permits involves leaving the country. The usual allowed stay is for 90 days though of course this depends on whether or not your passport was stamped on entering the country. If your home country does not appear on the table, we suggest you contact your nearest Czech Embassy BEFORE deciding which course you wish to apply for as for some countries obtaining the visa can be a lenghty process.

---|---|
Australia | No |
Canada | No |
